Handmade Knives

The Trading Post knives shown above have handles fashioned from desert ironwood collected from the arroyos of sunny Mexico--it has the sun in it.  It is extremely dense, sinks in water, and has interwoven grain like burlwood.  The sunny highlights of the grain are marvelous.  It is saturated with tannin and, once worked, it maintains a hand polish forever--only needing hand oil or beeswax to heighten its lustre. 

The large blades above are cold ground by hand of high carbon steel blanks--riveted with steel or brass rivets...

The rivet holes are plugged with deer antler (unless solid brass.)  These handles are also epoxied for extreme wear.

Our genuine Swiss Army models are a single blade with bottle opener/screwdriver... excellent for the executive with class or anyone wanting a bit of style to throw into a pocket and take anywhere!  Feels good in the hand this wood.
